River Mussel Quality

Postby Sevenless » Tue Apr 12, 2011 8:55 pm

What on earth influences their quality? I've tried to track every node I can think of against them. It's not related to sand, soil, water or clay quality of the tile. Does anyone have a clue?

There are indeed mussel quality nodes, which are as said above the same as fish nodes.

If you find a HQ mussel node, never tell about it :d.

Sorry, forgot to mention that one. I'm positive it's not fish either, since I've picked them multiple times beside a Q20 fish node and gotten Q10 mussels. And there's an area where I know there is no fish node that produces Q20+ mussels.

Where i usually get my q20 mussels there are no fish either, and gray clay is also q20.

I'll have to dig clay in the area. But I'm pretty certain gray clay is based off clay nodes and I know I've tested mussels against clay quality and came up with nothing. I'm beginning to suspect they may have their own node system.
