Sacrifices at an Ancestral Shrine ?

Hi again !

I tried to sacrifice something at my shrine, but it didn't work. I forfeited until getting a good wish from the Ancestors, then left clicked on it and right clicked on the shrine. Nothing happens when I do that.
Is there a bug or something like that ?

(It's the shrine of my last character, who's I inherited after a death - slained by a boar).
The only thing I see is that it's not my own shrine but the one built by my ancestor.

It was the thing I expected : you have to build your own shrine, no matter if you inherited or not.
