I'm trying to think of some way you could seal that off without leaving a gap....
My first thought was to take out the last section of wall and then build a CP there and if need be a wall section, but that wouldn't work, as you'd be stuck not being able to build a wall section and still have an open area others could walk.
What should work is if you pave a spot in front of or behind and stick a CP there. If you place it right, it should seal the whole thing off.
Example: (o-open ground, X- wall, R-ridge, C-CP)

Try it and see. Placing the CP behind the wall in the same manner should work.
