TLDR; Spend your first few points on foraging and hunting so you can grab blueberries, rabbits, chickens, and ants. Thats your food for the first few days. If you're near fruit trees you can eat from those also (if not you'll need to wander around exploring).

Your two best bets? Apples and rabbits. After that, various edible seeds, like mulberries and whatnot. Then, go towards blueberries and chantrelles. If you can get a sling and boat, go for foxes and boars.

I'm a noob too but i got lot of fish i say fishing to get a lot of food.

Definitely a good one!

I'm another advocate of getting about 7 points in Exploration right off the bat before you start raising any other skills. After that, I'd go about 4 or 5 in survival, then a few more in exploration and then unarmed. You'll then have so many blueberries, chantrelles, and ants you won't need to worry about eating things like apples and spindly taproots.

Rabbits are just too few to be a reliable source of food.
