Animals, build sites

Played last world, just started in this one. Tried to pen in a fox and pelt it to death with stones and it broke through the build sites after i hit it. Are Mouflons and Aurochs now capable of breaking through build sites as well now? Will I actually have to put work into getting large amounts of food?

Foxes can break through signs (as they could last world), aurochs/mufflonst cannot.
Fencing them in just prevents animals from running away - they'll never break signs while fleeing.

Last world as in W3 or W4? There were quite a few changes in January when W4 started. W5 started because of the missed macro LP grinding and got some people waaay too far ahead too fast.
