Agility - how useful is it?

Postby Ziggyzog » Thu Apr 14, 2011 11:08 pm

Is it useful compared to other combat related skills or should I eat other types of foods?

if your agility is low your enemy could easily make multiple moves in the time it takes for you to make one move.
So yes, agility is pretty important.

Agility is the next most important thing after your ua/melee level.

Agility determines how fast your skills cooldown relative to your opponent. The maximum difference is a 2:1 ratio (i.e. I have 40 agility, you have 20 agility), and at this ratio, my skills cooldown 20% faster, and yours cooldown 20% slower. 80% vs 120% speed. my attacks and moves are used 1.5x as often.

at least this is what i remember reading somewhere.

Once you get a village going (assuming you're not a hermit) agility is used for travel weariness. Teleporting to your village idol or a crossroad uses weariness depending upon your agility. Taking off nettle clothing or bronze plate can improve agility enough to make a leap.

Agi is an important stat.

1) Affects minimum ranged damaged you can take.
2) Distance you can travel via crossroad
3) Cooldown of combat manuvers
