Intelligence question

Postby Sitting_Bill » Fri Apr 15, 2011 1:27 am

So I now have 46 intelligence, and my mentory is almost always nearly full (ie only one or two squares empty at 46/46). I was wondering, what do you vets think is a reasonable amount of intelligence to aim for, before concentrating on other things, like strength and agility for combat?

Cheers!

Edit: Lol, someone posted an almost identical question within 30 seconds of mine. Not sure who was first, feel free to close this thread...

As you play you'll come across better curiosities, Personaly I could fill my memory with 80 attension points and still have some squares left to fill, It all depends on what you are using to study.

50 is a good start to be constantly productive.

80-100 for if you ever decide to start studying the higher end curiosities exclusively.

Can anything not crafted beat a q200 bear tooth? (Which is 25 attn if I recall.)

curious calculator is down, but despite the high quality, i think a bear tooth would always suck cock when compared, to bluebells, endelweiss, Wondrous Woodshaving and so on...might be wrong though

Beat how? Even at q200, there's plenty of things that are way better LP/HR than a tooth, and the attention absolutely kills it.

if my calculations are correct (and they usually are) then a q200 bear tooth would net you 12074 LP @ 360% which is
~503 LP per hour and
~20 LP per hour/attention

compared to a q10 Völva's Wand

10800 LP @ 360%
900 LP per hour
112.5 per hour/attention

so I guess that answers the question

yeah acording to calculator, q200 bear is about 12k lp. a q15 floatsam gives more and doesn't take 24h.

if you have mid triple digit int, attention is not really a factor anymore, and things that take up 3 slots might not be as good as three things. hth

At 160q bear tooth gives like 120 lp/hour which is why its in the top of curios without having access to crazy q craftables.
