What curiosities are best to grind to earn LP early on?

I've tried to understand it and I can't come up with a solid strategy for blitzing to Yeomancy or Boatbuilding. I'm hoping to earn enough so I can build a home or at least a boat to look for somewheres to live without the danger of being robbed or griefed without consequence.

Can someone help me with this please?

Cone cows, dandelions, ant soldiers, ant queens, ant empresses, lady bugs, and dragonflies. You don't need anything to get these and they're actually pretty good lp gain.

Definitely cone cows. Make a bunch, keep a few in your inventory at all times and rotate them in when you see numbers over your head. When you use one and you're not doing anything (and have enough inventory space for the materials), make a new one immediately.

Cone cows give the same LP/Hour/Weight as Peculiar Flotsam. At q10.
