My Chicks seem to Dissapear?

So, 3 chickens and 1 Cock. I've laid a dozen eggs, throw away half-dozen due to them being below q11. I've kept chicks above q11, over the past few days.

However, whenever I go to my Chicken Coop, there only seem to be one or two chicks - and no grown up chickens/cocks - and new eggs/chicks (as to be expected, in the latter).

Where are my older chicks going? I currently have two chicks from yesterday, one chick from today, and nothing from the days previous. I have plenty of fodder and space.

This is happening in both of my Chicken Coops, and my area is palisaded/claimed (No scents or signs of theft, otherwise).

Can you post a picture of your coops layouts? That may help a lot!

When the chick grow to a chicken/cock it need a 4X4 space to fit, if the place is lacking it is thrown out of the coop where it will despawn.

Make sure it has fodder unless they die
and yes as said above they need a 4x4 space to grow
that what must be causing the disappearance

Nay, I've only got the three chickens and cock along the top. Even when the chicks and eggs are cacked out, there's at least 4 more rows below it available.

Move the chicks away from the chickens, so there are empty squares surrounding them on all sides.

There's actually no point in that. The chicks will just move to any 4x4 space if it's available when the chick matures.
