solo village?

Postby Halagaz » Sat Apr 16, 2011 6:19 am

Is it manageable now to maintain a village with just one toon? I ask this because i want to access few of the village features like the crossraod, but i'm not sure if i can handle it with one toon. I know it was possible in W4, so how is it now, anybody tryed this?

If you're producing the LP, sure. Village size is limited by the amount of LP its members produce, with more banners/statues costing more Authority, and authority being generated by LP. If you afk for a few days, your authority will plummet and you might lose idol power.

Make a bunch of alts and rotate logging them in and keeping them updated with curios. Who knows. You might actually find uses for them.

As long as you can get 5k Auth a day, you're ok for a standard size village. This isn't too hard since Auth = base LP * sqrt ( ( Int * Cha) / 10). In other words, if you hadn't raised your int or cha any and were at 100% learning ability, you'd get that much authority every day.

it's seems quite easy to me actually, me and my brother have our very own village too and it didn't even take a day to get authority from 125000/250000 to full so I'm pretty sure any solo player can keep one up on there own, and of course there is the lawspeakers hat that will basically return the invested LP over time thanks to the int buff it provides

Feed a alt nothing but easy to get items, some int, and lots of grapes (just the throw away ones) and he'll be able to get the majority of the Authority costs even after you extent the claim. Its just a matter of how much you want to automate. Also you could make that toon a cooking & survival alt or something with the free LP something that won't need any stats so you can crank int and char.

I'd say it's extremely easy to maintain a base village claim with a single active char in the village. If you don't get fancy and extend your borders with flags or anything you should be good as gold really.
