When would it be recommendable to use a bow?

My MM is now 22, and I was wondering how long I should wait before going bow hunting. granted that the aim timer does not bother me, as long as I have a decent chance of hitting when it's full. (still not quite sure of the ranged system)

-I know this might be a personal opinion thing, but I'd like to hear 'em

last world i killed bears with a bow and 12 MM it just depends on how serious you are about time not bothering you. my sig is from this world, if you really want the meat you can do it with any MM.

but in my opinion you should raise your MM about 5 more points or so to get things done in a timely fashion, <please confirm but> i think the bow Q has an effect on the speed to

Never. Damage is comparable when you factor in the aim time, and you can wear a backpack with a sling.

Bow is for killing people, sling is for killing animals

Unless you want to instakill deer, then a q40+ bow is nice.

I use a bow with ~50 marksman, and that is just enough. It is primarily valuable for the convenience and satisfaction of oneshotting animals, plus the greater use against armor. Use at least a q40 bow and arrows. Bows are never required for hunting though, and some do not like them due to the quiver. Its a matter of preference mostly.

And you can 2-hit them with a same q sling.

I've always prefered Sling over Bow when it come to hunting animals.

Bow -
CON: limited space, limited ammo, slow
PRO : High dmg

Sling -
CON: Low dmg
PRO: Fast, unlimited ammo, can carry backpack and T-sack for more space

With a good sling and good MM, you can hit a running animal before it gets away.

Just my prefrence.

And kill 2-3 animals in the time to aim that bow
