Steel takes more than 12h ??

Postby minic90 » Wed Apr 20, 2011 10:48 pm

I'm making Steel for the first time now and I have waited 24h (real-time) already.

why does it take so long ??? according to the http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Bar_of_Steel it should take only 12h

quoted from the same link.

With a full fuel meter, the crucible will burn for 12 hours (real time). In order to produce steel, the wrought iron and coal must remain in a continually lit crucible for 56 hours.

... Okay (need glasses :geek: )

Than the next Question:

Does a full Steel Crucible produce 2 Steel bars at the same time?
Or is there even a possibility of FAIL?

It needs to be lit for 56 hours to make the 2 bars, but can only hold 12 hours worth of fuel. so if you forget to fill and it goes out, fail.

each wrought in there becomes a steel bar.

no chance of fail anymore unless you fuck up with refueling(lack of)
