Buy the "swimming" skill, and try to swim across a lake. Or, jsut wade in the water for a while...

As an alternative to drowning, you can also handplow and drink water until you starve.

Raiding an anthill and letting the ants beat you up works, too. It takes a few tries, though, as ants won't immediately kill you the first time. (Second time will probably work, though.)
