Chainmail Shirt

Made a Chainmail Shirt Q9 with just 450 hitpoints

according tohttp://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Chainmail_Shirt

Hitpoints: 950 * sqrt(quality / 10) --> 950*sqrt(0.9) --> 950*0,95 --> 900 hitpoints

Why does my Chainmail Shirt just have 450 hitpoints ????

the wiki is probably wrong and the base is actually 475. i think the soak/deflect numbers are wrong as well, last time i saw chainmail (it was a long time ago, i must admit, the soak was double the deflect.

Got a q22 chainmail hanging around.

HP: 1100
AC: 111/111
Agi: -8

Solving for the HP h:

h * 22 = 1100
h = 50

Solving for the AC a:

a * sqrt(22/10) = 111
a= 74.8261...

Solving for the Agi A:

A * sqrt (22/10) = -8
A = -5.3936...

I'd say the wiki is off a bit on HP and AC.

Plate is the only thing with double the soak value.

edit: screwed up the HP numbers. fixed.

As far as I know HP of armor is a flat base value * Q which is 50 for chainmail and bronze plate (9*50 = 450) and yes the HP part for some armors seems to be off on the wiki

That's right. My bad. Fixing my post above for the right numbers.

steel plate has 2:1 deflect:soak
bronze plate has even soak and deflect
chainmail had 2:1 soak:deflect last time i saw any which was a long time ago, like i said.
