Whats the perc*exp to see all flotsams?
Oh also, what's the chance to pick up a rabbit jackalope? Do I have another chance if I drop him and pick him up again?

Four times as much as you need to start seeing them, like all forageables.
Not sure about jackalopes, but I still haven't got one after about 250 rabbits. It's unlikely that dropping and picking them up again helps.
Silk moths don't change genders either when you drop them, it's most likely the same with jackalopes and shocked frogs.

The per*exp to see all flotsam is probably under 500. You start seeing them at about 100-200 range, at absolute most it would be 600 to see them all. The thing is they're just incredibly rare. So luck factors in a lot.

Side note: Has anyone else noticed that older characters tend to see less flotsam? I know several beginning characters who regularily find 4-5 per day, but the older foragers I know get lucky if they see 1. Probably just sample error, but it's weird still.

In the first few weeks of this world i would find at least three or four flotsams a day, recently I have barely found any, but today I found 5...

The place has been pretty crowded lately, so I'm wondering if they have been snagging them, and are not playing so much today? is there something awesome on tv in the states? I dunno.... but strangely, as flotsam has gone up... royal toadstools have disappeared completely...

Well some of that is the fact that they seemed to have been decreased in quantity for everyone. But still... new characters find boatloads more than I do when I go out... it's weird. Having to beg the new char in your village for curios that is XD.

I see around 6 flotslams per day, when i dont have any flotslams to study i see 2 more on random river/lake.

i found floatsams every now and then, not as often...strange crystal on the other hand....zero. And i' mine plenty.
