Getting Beeswax

About how long does it take a beehive to start generating beeswax? MY friends and i have had a hive for over a week now and still none...

Every times a crop grows theres a chance to get honey, and every time you got honey generated you have chance to get wax.

Nope. Each time honey is generated you got chance to get wax too. Best way to get wax is planting huge carrot field as you can replant them 2 times a day.
