Scents and reincarnation

Lets say someone robs me or something. Their character dies and they reincarnate, does the scent lead to that new character?

No, scents will tell you the char is dead.

I may be wrong, but if the character is dead and the skeleton still remains, the scents will lead you to the skeleton.

as long as i remmber no, you could be right though, anyway, the fact is that OP wont have revenge, or is safe.
