Ruby Dragonflies

What are the approximate odds of catching one? I've caught ~25+ Emerald Dragonflies and haven't found one Ruby. :(

Probably about the same as shockedfrogs/rabidjackalopes aka no one knows.

1% seems like a good guess as that seems to be the generic "rare item" chance used.

0.1% is more often in MMOs tbh for 'Rare'.
1% is uncommon.

Well I was more talking about H&H. The "rare" items in the game (pearls/trolls) are generally considered to have a 1% chance rate, although this could be (and probably is) largely conjecture.

It is purely conjecture.

Thanks, they're a lot more rare than I thought. By the way, are Itsy Bitsy Webs pretty rare and what are they worth?

pearls are, in fact, 1%. troll rate seems a lot lower considering the thousands of tiles i've mined.

I found two rubies so far, and I must've caught close to a thousand emeralds.
