Just started playing yesterday, got a nice little camp setup with my 2nd char.

Im wondering tho, does stuff like hunger increase whilst im logged out? Ive got exams next week and I might not log in for a week or so.

No, it doesn't. Hunger doesn't even increase when you're online, as long as you're not doing anything.

I meant your character's hunger in the game, not your own.

That would be pretty bad, because most of my characters are essentially logged on 24/7 and at least for the alts, I often don't bother moving them into a house before I go afk.
Since I keep the alts at "very hungry", they should've died a dozen deaths by now.
Hunger does increase when you're healing or recovering stamina, but that's a different story.

Hunger replaces SHP and stamina. If you have 100% of those, hunger does not drain. I've gone afk outside with full SHP and stamina and my hunger didn't drop one point.
