How do I find out my co-ordinates?

Hi,

It's been a while since I've played and recently my character has somewhat developed into a quasi-decent farmer. However, I'm getting tired of living like a hermit and want to join a village nearby, however nobody seems to be logged in nearby when I'm online (except the occasional griefer I run from).

How would I go about attaining the co-ordinates of my character in order to reach out to nearby villages?

Failing that, assuming I were to join a village many grids away what is the easiest way to move my current main character there?

I'm in a highly resourceful spot but I'm really tired of doing the hermit routine, there are SO many tasks to finish up every day and the claim is large.

If you join a far away village (they can swear you in via party icons), you can port to idol no matter the distance if you destroy your hearth (minimum 25str to do it with stone axe). Of course, you won't be able to port back to your place since you won't have a hearth there, so think carefully what you'll pack.
