Can't make lots of stuff?

Hey guys

I'm new to this game and I got a question: I cant make some stuff. Examples are bone saw, log cabin, crates, Seer's bone
I do meet all of the requirements , I have the items.
What am I doing wrong?

You must discover items such as bones to make a saw or stones and branches to make a axe and buy the skill as you go.

Did you butcher the animal yourself for the bone? And do you have carpentry for the cabin?

I didnt discover the bone, i found it in a crate. and yes i do have carpentry
i did not butcher the animal myself. I never killed an animal yet only cooked rats...

You can craft items only from items that you discovered. Usually when you discover an item you get LP (there are some exceptions - pottery, ...), then, you can use that discovered item in crafting.
So... find a rabbit or a chicken and butcher it!
