How do i get clay fast?
Some russians started yesterday and they have already a kiln+oven.
And i got a big farm with palisade around it etc and with only a stupid klin within.. xD

You have to wander and find a node. Unlike dirt, if the clay is only q10 (or lower), then you can only get one chunk at a time and then wait for it to regenerate. If the node is higher than 10, you can dig at it until the quality drops to 10 or lower.

Nodes, in general, are something in an oval to a circle. The peak is in the middle, so if you use a bit of logic and random attempts, you can usually find the peak. For clay, it's generally suggested that if your digging along the shore, try every 50-100 tiles until you find something better than 10, and then try closer together till you can pinpoint the best spot. If you can find a mudflat (big brown patches), you usually only have to try one spot in the middle unless it's really large, then maybe one on either end. Again, if you find better than 10, work your way one direction or another as long as it's going up. Pick another direction if it goes down.
