What to spend on

Postby PuppyPolice » Fri May 06, 2011 11:39 pm

Hello guys!

I am currently unsure how to spend my stats, and what i should be aiming for.
I currently have access to all crops and harvest Q40+ and cook items over Q30 etc.
I have access to Bronze, but not Iron, what would you improve if you had my current position and stats?

Thanks in advance for the tips. Currently i have 110k unspent LP

I guess if I were you I would buy the Swimming skill and collect flotsam without a boat. Why would you even make a thread like this?

If it's such a bad thread, then let me counter with "Why would you even answear such a thread"?

I would invest in Unarmed Combat. You can always use some moar UAC.

How much would be enough to kill a bear? You don't think i need to increase exploration? 25x80 right now, not sure if there is a max. Thanks for the tip.

Increase exploration to 100. If you have or manage to get a good stone axe (or any other sharp tool, for that matter), then increase your survival to the number of quality of said tool. Increasing marksmanship will help you hunt much faster, as well. You said you have q40+ crops but you only have 38 farming, so I don't see why you don't want to raise that. If you cook q30 items, why is your cooking just 20? You can also raise carpentry if you want to make higher quality boards (which you _will_ need). This also applies to sewing, for higher quality clothes, and smithing for higher quality metal items, but only if you are the one making said items (no point raising smithing if you're not the blacksmith). After this, just keep pumping UA.

I've noticed that you don't have Murder as well, which you might want to get if you want necro cloaks (which you can use or trade around your region).

When being softcapped by survival/tool you are first softcapped by one, then the other, I believe tool first, so you want to put it at whatever your tool would bring the quality down to, not the tool Q.

Really good advice, thank you!
