Good motivation to make this into a new thread with each section in a separate post for navigation.

Well, you DID reserve the second post.

True, but There's probably 3-4 distinct sections that could use navigation hops. I felt I did a lot better on making the guide navigable in the Salem version, if less of a concise job at explaining the game (too much change/flux to keep it updated honestly).

Overall if I was going to start work, I'd rather have a complete do-over thread wise really.

Now with world 7's survival hard cap on resources gathered from the wild, you might want to put something in there about survival being a lot more important now. I actually wasn't aware of this for a while (and I'm not even a noob (well, maybe)), I thought I was just lucking out big time and not getting any nodes for anything, so presumably new players who read this guide/the out of date wiki might think the same thing.

It is actually mentioned:

Survival 1->5 - 1400LP
Survival is a hard cap (max quality is your skill if potential quality is higher than 10) for anything you forage and a soft cap (if your skill is lower than max quality, average the quality) for making cone cows, stone axes, slings. Better Q cone cows/ants give more LP so this is more important than you'd think. Food always gives the same fullness regardless of Q, but the FEP's given increase. This seems useless now, but you'll appreciate higher survival later on.

People just tend to not realize how important avoiding the nickle and diming low survival inflicts really is.

There's an extra zero in the lp cost of farming where you mention the prerequisites of yeomanry.

Thanks mate. I vaguely recall editing that in recently, but I was thinking of the cost of an incrementable at the time I did it. Nice catch :)

Tidying/completing sections that have been left half finished for apparently years now.

Progress?

Thanks for all of the great advice. Really made my first couple of days far more manageable. I hope you keep up the great work :D

Edit: Quick question, is it worth it to use extra leather to craft armour?
