How to prevent chain cave-in?

Postby KwonChiMin » Tue May 10, 2011 12:10 pm

Well, i have a cave with a small palisaded area inside it. There are several supports to enlarge the area. How to lower a possibility to someone get inside the cave and cause a cave-in (chain cave-in then in gets to my own supports) to destroy stuff inside my walls or even the walls themselves?

Expand the palisade out and then don't put anything in cave-in range. A cave-in won't even damage a palisade and it blocks the rocks from even hitting the ground. (Found this out the hard way.) If you are worried about a chain cave-in, then you could just take out the supports yourself with an alt and then clean up the rocks afterward. Just move anything breakable out of the way.
