How much survival skills is enough?

Postby Bugssy » Wed May 11, 2011 6:09 am

After my "per*exp" thread, I found out I wasted a lot of LP, now I'm wondering, with my survival at 120, at what point is increasing survival skill pointless?

200 for bears, 300 for trolls if you ever get a couple of hardcore miners and can feed them.

Head for 200 for now, then let it sit until you're A) expecting to butcher a troll at somepoint, or B)Your flax crop is Q300-400 and you need to make more than a Q200 sling.

Better to have a q200 bow and q200 arrows at this point, but that means having 200 MM.

Been discussing this with some people from W3. Apparently a Q200 sling is better than a Q200 bow. 268 max damage, you fire like a machine gun and ammo is 0 difficulty to get. Q200 arrows on the other hand require Q200 trees.

For hunting that is. This has nothing to do with PvP of course.
