No, you'll have to wander until you hit one of the edges of the world.
Of course, it's much faster to memorize the shape of a nearby terrain type (such as a mountain) and look for that on the world map.

Well, first you have to have OCD. Then, you look at your minimap, memorize what it looks at and look for an exact match in the world map. Then, look to the top left and write the x and y numbers down.
