Is it possipole to get ores from a cave?

I had mined in à cave like 200 years i won't find any Ores is it even possible to find any ore?

The ores come with veins. Veins are not visible to human eyes, you have to test the walls to find a vein. It might even be possible a cave doesn't have a vein. To test if there's a vein, mine 1-3 squares every few squares (10-20) along the cave wall. Or you could just prospect above.

Not only can you find ore veins in a cave, it is the quickest way to obtain metal early on.

Are there also cavesystems at the lower minelayers or it is just one black landscape.

It's all black in the lower layers, no cave systems (although it would be nice to have, with a much lower frequency than on the first layer).

ah ok, yea it would be cool to stumble across a cave a lets say layer 5 and minding awesome cave clay over there
