house question

i just started playing, created a character spawn in peace, and i saw red barriers around houses right off the bat, i venture into the woods and i run into
a house with no red barrier, and i dont see no one around, what should i do

The red barrier is a claim. The house without a claim probably belongs to someone, but you can take anything you want without them being able to track you.

Check this guide out if you're new. It should help the startup phase.
