Pali Degenerating Fast?

Postby mcsproot » Sat May 14, 2011 9:33 pm

So my friend recently had his pali broken and everything outside his claim wrecked. But beside the point.

His pali has several red/pink parts, I guess from natural degredation. He has built them on brick paving instead of stone, is that something to do with it?

Afaik brick pavement counts the same as stone.

Claim it and it won't degrade.

Brick counts the same as stone, but if it isn't covered by a claim you are only half-protecting it from degradation.

Any claim works. Make sure to keep the pali in good repair so it won't be so hard to break. There might be a couple of people around to tear down a pali by hand, but for the most part it's still going to need a ram.

A village claim will only stop decay while the authority is above 50k I believe. Anything low than that and there is no protection.

You did say that he just "had his pali broken" right? Well if someone knocked a hole in his palisade then that also sends a shockwave of damage throughout the rest of the wall which could be the source of those pink/red sections of wall you're seeing.

Breaking it down also causes several sections to fall, not just one. If the hole is only size one, then I'm betting nobody kept it repaired to begin with.

The hole size was about 5 pieces, from a corner to a corner.

He insisted on a circle palisade.
