Second of all, zig zag mining, while not 100% safe, is the best way to exploratory mine.

he's not sure where the node is at....im guessing. You should clear that whole area out, mining every tile, and prospect again. better chance of fiding the node that way. if thats what ur asking for.

also there are 2 veins.

At this point just drop a minehole down a level. The veins are definitely there, but you're far better off just digging towards them rather than fiddling with prospecting if you've got two overlapping veins.

Try to lower the Q of your extract and go towards one. That's the best I can offer.

This happens quite a bit. I've got an iron vein running through my copper. Annoying when I'm trying to get copper and end up with half iron :/
