Claims & Descendants

Do descendants automatically own claims of the previous character? IS there something you have to do to get it that way? My friend, whose stake covers our farm died and now she can't move on her ancestors claim or access it.

Yes, your ancestor automatically inherits your previous character's claim and hearth. Is she sure she made her new character an ancestor? (Clicked the tombstone in the character creation room and clicked inherit)

Yeah we just realised, she didn't click it when she remade her character.

This is easy to fix. Just create a new character and make sure to inherit. All the runestones of dead characters will appear in the character creation room.
