How Idol Port?

How do I idol port someone? Im my villages lawspeaker, and I was trying to get someone to it. I got into party with them, but I wasnt able to invite him to my village. Is there some sort of requirement for it? I feel really stupid for asking this >.<

In order to invite them you need to be in the same 'world'
`Outside` is one world.
L1 Mine(/caves) is another world.
Every house is it's own world.

The easiest way is for both parties to stand outside in the world somewhere then do it via party.
