Bit of a predicament.

So, I seem to be in quite a predicament as far as it comes to my palisade protecting a certain area of my village. I cannot place a palisade cornerpost against the cliff backing, nor can I place it at the end of the cliff as there is a small place you can wiggle out of... whats your thoughts?

I think you are going to have to knock it down and start again. Always check you can build a post on any area on your route that is close to other items, just build.. pallisade corner post.. if the sign post appears you are okay, if not... think again.

Ugly solution is to just put another corner post there to plug the hole like suggested.

Also, when you place a signpost (for any buildable object) it inherits that objects hitbox. So in order to see if a cornerpost would protect that spot, all you have to do it throw a couple logs into a signpost and then try your best to wiggle around it. If you can't get around the signpost then you won't be able to get around the cornerpost.
