Am I broken?! Where are my commands?!

No joke! I checked every command list I can. Bottom right corner, just like StarCraft. Click "Build" and there's another list inside that list...click "Furniture" and you've got Leantos and othersuch things.

I have Boat Building, so I have Carpentry and Fishing... I can build a fishing rod, not that I've tried yet. But it's THERE.

Build > Construction is *NOT* present. B opens "Build"..."C" does nothing after that, so there's no boat...and in my Craft > Tools menu, I have > Fishing and Axe...but there's no way for me to build a bone saw!!!

To answer any further questions you might have about my exact situation, I have not levelled up my skills. I've only focused on acquiring them directly.

You need to discover the materials and buy the appropriate skills necessary to construct things. Before you know what a bone saw is or how to make it you'll need to discover bones and branches.

No, you must actually collect bones from the dead animal corpse.

There are a couple of 'exceptions' of collecting it yourself... or rather, the method of collection isn't exactly what first comes to mind. One example is taking a liquid out of a barrel with a container. That counts as a discovery. (I'm speaking more about milk. This is normal for beer, wine, or vinegar.)

Some potential collection locations other than foraging or butchering yourself: dried hide off a rack, leather out of a tub, items off an herbalist table, kiln, or smelter. Other items can't be discovered until you craft them once, such as flour for baking. I think you can fill in the rest.
