Occupied Beds

Postby Kortalh » Sat Jun 04, 2011 7:57 pm

I have a weird problem.

When my friends and I built our first house, we built four Bough Beds and put them inside. Over time, we noticed that they started to fill up with sleepers -- yet nobody was sleeping. Eventually all four of them were occupied, and we had to build more beds in order to sleep.

After a while we discovered that it was simple enough to just destroy them, but now we want to build Sturdy Beds, which take more resources, and we don't want to be rebuilding them constantly.

Is there something I can do to prevent them from becoming occupied like that? Are we picking up hobos or something?

Thanks.

Just right click the bed, theres a small graphics bug for the beds..
No one is sleeping there, just the "image of the bed" hasn't been updated from the last time you sleeped there

Right-clicking didn't seem to do anything -- no "sleep" option popped up. Though they're destroyed now, so I can't check to confirm.

If it's on a claim, i doubt anyone is going to just plop down there. However, if it isn't claimed, you could be getting someone coming in and sleeping in your bed. Wonder if they think it's too hard or too soft....

If only I had a bear handy that could ask. :D

It's on a claim, though, so it's definitely a bug and not party poopers.
