Do you need Vandalism to seal corner posts on claimed property? I just built two new palisade corner posts and for some reason I can't right-click them and add to them. This is really starting to urk me.

Not sure about vandalism. But if you just created the new cornerposts the initial ones take 12 hours to set before you can build off of them or seal them.

Yes you do. But people sure love to seal them so thats probably what happened.

I just find it odd that I don't see any scents on my claim. I even kept entering and exiting the cave nearby to see if the scents would show up but they don't.

im not sure how high your per*exp is to find that odd, but some players have very high stealth*int lately.

no offense, but im afriad that↓ is too low to see what you need for the current standards.
my deceased char had 42*50, still i could only see less than half of what my friend could easily see.

Indeed. My Perception is 16 and my Exploration is 40. Not exactly great but it helps me find what I need.

That works well enough for foraging, but it's very easy for an established player to have 100 effective int and 100 stealth.I'd say 50x50 is about the bare minimum you should expect to be able to see anything from a true blue raider.

I have nearly 10k exp*perc and i know people whos scents i cant see at all ;S

Heh.. pretty clever. The reason I wasn't seeing the scents was because I wasn't looking in the right spot. The vandal carefully hid behind the posts and sealed them. I have collected the vandal scents and guess where it led to? To literally follow me maps away to grief me, that is pretty pathetic, yet slightly honoring.

There is a good chance that you were not targeted specifically but the griefer went around to fuck with those he come across. You may have happen to just been on his path. Is your home near water?
