How do I start the production of a house?

So i have a paved stone ground space, and carpentry. But it still doesn't give me the option to start on the house, and I can't make a bonesaw to make boards. (I have a bone and a branch but again, there isnt an option in my tools button). Also, this is off but I no longer gain LP from simple things like cutting trees, chipping rocks, and plowing ground. Is it normal?

You need to discover wood blocks and boards and tree boughs before you can make a house.

[C]raft > [T]ools > [B]onesaw is to craft a Bonesaw. You must have discovered the bone, though, to make one. You can't just pick one up out of a container. Butcher a Rabbit or Chicken.

You only gain LP for discovering new items ONCE. After that, you will not gain LP for discovering the same item. To gain more LP you need to study Curios which can be foraged or crafted. This is new compared to previous worlds where you gained LP for doing tasks like picking branches, plowing the ground, grinding, etc.
