[ANSWERED] Getting the Men Together

I'd like to have my associates near me, as we are planning to build a village together.
Any suggestions how I get their spawn position near mine?

Perhaps set an hearthsecret and let them make a new character to spawn next to you?
If not, add them and make a party and then let them follow the arrow what points at you.

If your friends are strong enough to break their own hearthfires, you could make a village idol by yourself, light it, then swear them in while grouped. Then your friends can break their hearths and port to the village.
