Since when do trees convert the ground they are on to the correct type of land? I planted some oaks on a heath and the heath is decaying to forest tiles around them. Neat.

I remember when forest-to-grass-by-lack-of-trees was put in, but I also remember people complaining that there was no way to re-generate forest tiles, so I assumed it was new.
