Does anyone know how to "extract maps" from enders client? I want to be able to cross reference the map of my cave to that of the land above so it is easier to prospect
Any suggestions

use photoshop to create pic with different layers.

You can save the maps of caves directly from Ender's with the disk on the map. They show up in the 'cave' folder wherever you have your client saved at.

To use photoshop the files have to be JPEG but they are saved as PNG anyway to change it??

PNG is Photoshop format - to be able to work with layers you should stay with PNG
