Logging out during attack

Umm if your getting attacked by an animal and get KO'd will logging out stop a bear or boar from killing you?

nope. if you`re KO`d and still not dead you should spam 'jump to hearth fire' to save your ass.

If the server crashed during your fight, don't worry, you'll live. When the server crashes, animals do too, so they cannot kill you. I had the similar problem when it crashed the other day and i was fighting a deer.

If you logged when it didn't crash, well then, it's a 50/50...

i find if i isntantly log out after an animal attacks and relog in my hearth it saves me. sometimes knocked out, but still at elast not where the boar is to attack again

You just got lucky.

If you are losing a fight against an animal: while server crashes will save your char from death, the very rare server connection failure (where the game time continues but nobody can play) can still kill you.
