Can lawspeakers also have cheftain privlages?

Postby killette2 » Sat Jun 18, 2011 1:38 pm

I want to be able to declaim land but I would also like to be able to summon hirdsmen. Also can anyone in the village make banners? The wiki didn't tell me much about villages.

Lawspeaker can't get the chieftains abilities. Only the lawspeaker and chieftain can build banners, statues, etc

So would it be better if I made my alt a lawspeaker and made myself the cheif or what? I would like to be able to summon hirdsmen for insta-raids =D

Well, a lawspeaker alt is always a good idea incase you die so people can't take over your village.

You can only warp a hirdsman to your spot (as chieftan) if
a) its within your VClaim.
b) your hirdsman has enough AGI/Travel Warriness to make it to you.

It cost auth to warp hridsman.

Ok, what are the rules for building banners/statues? Do they need to be within your claim?

All banners and statue (Including crossroads and charterstones) have to be built on your village claim.

Which do you recommend building? Also is a statue stronger enough than a banner to be worth the sword it cost?

Banners and statues are indestructible as long as the village maintains >50k Authority. Banners are recommended unless the extra space is needed (ie a wide river or lake, etc.
