Cant play With others? Help

When i start i select create character i walk up too the chick input my name go to the other dude and select i want to be a boy and then when i go up the ladder im always inacomlpetly barren place i walk for miles and find no one, sometimes i find signposts or what other people have started to construct then abandon.

and the only preset place i can go to is 'Peace' and no where else .... i need help im not sure if im not allowed to play online or this game is really barren of players :S thank you and sorry if all of this is just noobishness

just keep walking. It took me a few days to run into someone then when i did i couldn't understand. Its normal though. also try to dicover anything and everything you can. and........ keep your study box full of curiosities

thank you =] i have read the facts but it is very hard to get used to this but then again that is what makes me want to work so hard at it haha

This isn't a bug.

The ladder always takes you to a random place in the wilderness.

If you want to play with someone, join a village or something, or get other people to join you instead.

Or start at peace and venture south. That area always needs more people.

edit: or, if you prefer, venture north-- or any direction for that matter. Charterstones generally attract people.

Moving this to the "How do I?" since it is more of a beginners question. I tis intended that you start out alone in the wilderness in this game, because it is all about survival. You can start at the charterstone called "Peace" (which is playermade btw), but I wouldn't recommend it. Experience the beginning of the game on your own, make the first discoveries, craft some tools, build yourself a little shelter. Get killed by a boar maybe, most people do it and think it is fun
