I dont get any LP?

I saw some youtube videos and each time i saw guy cutting tree,making something he always get +1 LP but i newer didnt get those.i already hawe earned 2,5K LP (total) because i was building new things and etc.Is its the only way to earn LP is collecting rare things for attention use and put it in study thingy and wait 24 hours? (Found itsy bitsy spider now i need to wait 96H,Found cat gold waiting time: unknown maybie 24/48H

There are two methods of earning experience. The first is through Discoveries. Nearly every new item that you harvest or craft yourself will reward you with 50LP - for example, rightclicking a nearby tree will open a radial menu. When you pick your first branch, you gain 50LP. You get no experience for branches after the first. Most of your early experience will come from seeing lots of new items for the first time, which is why starting near broadleaf forest can be such a boon.

The second method for earning experience is through Curiosities, which can be acquired in many ways: crafting, gathering, and even random rewards for various tasks. Open the character sheet and click the second button at the bottom to view your mental inventory. Place a curio here and your character will begin studying it. Once the piechart on the curio has come full circle, it will be consumed and award LP. Note that study time passes for curios regardless of whether your character is logged in or not. Only one of each curio can be studied at any given time.

Do not be afraid of what -could- happen and how you -could- die doing something. Play the game how you want and do what you want, if you die, then it is only a learning experience. This is extremely true when you're just starting out-- you can't learn everything from guides.

Btw.You guys usualy live in villages or one by one.Cause i invited few friends to game but they're lazy once they played they understood that game is too hard for them.But i realy want to live with some one who realy plays this game and doesent just walk around asking useless things.And i would realy like to live with some one who wouldnt betray and who realy would accept me :\

As i saw in forums villages gets destroyed often and everyone gets killed so its not best idea for me
