So, what's up with mines? How many of ores are now? Are ores as hard to find as in world 3 and 4?

There are no more static mines.

There are 6 Layers of land.

Ground, Cave (Level1), Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5.

Each layer below ground can get you metal nodes (some big some small). Metal is now found that way.

Add: You now build minehole at spots to acess these metal nodes (randomly hoping to hit something or throught rustroot prosepcting).

You build mineholes (Yes they are now buildable) to go deeper. Every tile now gives more than 1 ore and it goes directly into your inventory.

BTW, mining now requires STR and Q of Axe/Pick matters. More STR better Pick = faster and each level req more str to dig. Hope this helps.

Just build another minehole where you've mined out.

can you build mineholes to 5 layers deep? didn't know that i'm learning every day in the forums
and is there more chance to find silver or gold in the 5th layer or not?
