Does the top hat or any other +1 to personal beliefs increase your belief past the maximum. I was told that the top hat wouldn't increase my industry beyond full, and now I have another person telling me it does. Considering that I haven't needed a cape to mine in all of the layers for ages, i was thinking of wearing one instead of a helmet.

1)It's Cylinder Hat not Top Hat
2)No, you cannot go beyond 5 either way.
