There's some itens I can't do...
Let me use Leather Armor as an sample.
I already have leathers, but I can't see it in the leather working menu.

In order to unlock a crafting recipe, you have to get the discovery for the base items. In this case, that means pulling leather out of a tanning tub, not just getting it from a friend, off the ground, or out of a cupboard.

There is also a minor bug. Sometimes the recipes don't update immediately and you have to log out and back in to see them.

Well, I pulled the leather out of a tanning tub, but it still don't updated...
Maybe I got it from a friend, but I got it from the tub too.

Just going to toss this out there. You also have Leather Working, correct?

You can try logging out/back in, will usually fix it if you DO meet all the criteria.
