While walking in heath to head somewhere, I noticed there was a guy in the field. He had a necromancers cape, rangers boots, and a travelers sack, but most strange of all, a green cape. I recently had left a trespassing scent and he was heading my dirrection, so I teleported home, took all my valuables and logged out. I heard that the green cape is a rare cape based off of zelda or something and only for looks, can anyone give me more detail about this cape and how rare it really is?

It depends whether it was http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Ranger%27s_Cape or http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Druid%27s_Cloak. Former is trash, latter is rare.

Never log out in the field, insta hearth though. Once you're behind your walls you don't have to worry about the possible 2-3 minute log out delay. I think that's what Nova was hinting at anyway.
