I can't help to notice that so many people want blueberries. I know they are used for good food, but why is the demand for them so high? What are people using them for?

Not any longer than for large villages. Issues are more in quantities and qualities.

Simply because I'm lazy. It's much easier for me to right click a few times and fill a barrell with some quality water you don't have, then it is to boat around trying to fill a chest with blueberries.

/\ Valten has it here. The rich can trade something a noob values far more than blueberries (tools/resources/etc) that are far more value/time efficient to collect than running around getting blueberries. And for the larger villages, you can never have enough of em (at worst they still make a decent variety food).

That being said, blueberries are so easy to collect not many people offer that much for them. They are the noobiest of trade goods tbh.

Blueberry pies have a huge quality advantage over roasted perch if the village uses their quality flour, ovens, fuel, and perhaps water.
